Terms & conditions
The terms we work to on every job, so there are no surprises for either side.
Quotes and site visits
Site visits and quotes are free and carry no obligation. We price after seeing the garden, because ground conditions, levels, access and disposal all affect the work. A quote is a fixed price for the work described in it; extra work you ask for later is priced separately and agreed with you before it is carried out.
Deposit and payment
A 25% deposit secures your slot in the diary and covers materials. The remaining balance is due on completion, once you have seen the finished work and are happy with it.
Materials and supply
We supply and fit. Samples can be brought out so you can see and feel the grass or paving before deciding. Natural stone and porcelain vary in shade between batches, and artificial grass may show minor colour variation between rolls; this is normal and not a defect.
Guarantees
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 10 years. The manufacturer's 10-year guarantee on the artificial grass is passed straight on to you. Guarantees cover the installation and product as supplied; they do not cover damage caused by third parties, alterations by others, misuse, or ground movement or events outside our control.
Insurance
We carry £2 million public liability cover, in place on every job including school and nursery work.
Access and site conditions
We need reasonable access to the working area, and somewhere to bring materials in and take spoil out. Please tell us before work starts about anything buried in the garden, pipes, cables, drainage runs or soakaways, as we cannot be responsible for damage to services we were not made aware of and could not reasonably see.
Scheduling and weather
We book start dates once the deposit is paid and work to them wherever possible. Severe weather can make groundwork or laying unsafe or unsound; where that happens we will let you know and move to the next workable date.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel, tell us as early as you can. Where materials have already been ordered or cut specifically for your job, or work has begun, we may retain part of the deposit to cover what has been spent.
